We aim to bring the fun and a positive experience and I know we can achieve this together….

Terms and Conditions @ Face Painting Melbourne

1. Booking and Cancellation

A booking is confirmed once you accept a quote either by physically accepting the quote it in Xero or by. From that point we reserve the artist or service for your date and time and decline other bookings for that slot.
If you cancel the booking, the following cancellation fees apply, based on the amount owing:
•     More than 3 weeks before the event: no fee
•     Between 3 weeks and 14 days before the event: 10% administration fee
•     Within 14 days of the event: 100% of the amount owing, to cover the loss of work
These fees are a genuine pre-estimate of the loss we incur when a reserved date can't be re-booked. Exceptional circumstances will be considered case by case, and any adjustment is at our discretion.

2. Payment

•     Full payment is due on or before the day of the event, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
•     If a payment is overdue and we have not agreed an extension, a $15 administration fee applies. The fee is charged again for each week a reminder invoice is issued until the account is paid.

3. Additional Charges

•     Lateness and extra time: If the event starts late or you would like us to stay longer, additional time is charged in half-hour increments at [variable].
•     Parking: Parking fees are reimbursed where parking is not provided.
•     Tolls: Toll fees apply where the artist must travel on toll roads.
•     Peak times: Public holidays and bookings before 8:30am or after 6:30pm are charged at a higher rate of [ariable].
•     Last-minute bookings: Additional fees may apply.
•     Equipment: A marquee and lighting can be supplied at extra cost.
•     Induction: A $25 fee applies for each artist who needs to complete a site induction.

4. Venue, Safety and Supervision

•     You are responsible for providing a safe work environment, shelter from the weather, and parking for our artists unless arranged otherwise.
•     Our artists may stop work at any time if they believe their safety is at risk. Payment remains due in full.
•     Artists are not childminders. An adult must always supervise children.

5. Our Artists and Insurance

All artists hold a current Certificate of Currency and a valid Working with Children Check. They are experienced professionals who work quickly and confidently when speed is needed.
6. Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
Face Painting Melbourne takes reasonable care to ensure that all artists are suitably experienced, hold current insurance and a valid Working with Children Check, and follow industry-standard OHS practices.
If you have a concern about the service provided, please tell us on the day or within [48 hours] of the event so we can investigate it. If we find the service did not meet the agreed standard, we will work with you in good faith to resolve it, which may include a partial adjustment to the amount owing. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

We use non-toxic, water-based, professional-grade materials. For safety, we cannot paint anyone with an allergy, cold or skin condition.
